In large oil and marine sites or airports, large spills occur that cannot be contained with ordinary equipment. Absorbent booms have a very high absorption capacity and can absorb liquids while preventing them from spreading. These booms can contain and absorb liquids even on the surface of the water.

Booms are a good option for absorbing oil waste that is released into the sea by oil tankers during maritime transport. They prevent the spread and spread of the spill. During an incident, absorbent booms are placed around the scene of the incident. The spill is contained by pads, cushions, pumps and other tools and the environment is cleaned.

The booms contain absorbent fibers that are covered with a high-strength rope coating and net. Very strong stainless steel rings are installed between the various components, which can be used to connect multiple booms together. The presence of these rings allows the operation of covering and spreading the booms on water surfaces to be carried out with high precision and speed, and facilitates towing and towing.

Application of canvases:

Aquatic environments: Marine environments – boats – ships – docks – ship loading areas

Land: Gathering places of various oil and grease pipes – fuel transfer pipes – fuel tankers – chemicals and large factories, splashing (spills, leaks) in warehouses, liquid production centers, pharmacies, laboratories, hospitals, food and beverage industries, airports and aircraft refueling, customs warehouses, etc.

Types of canvas

Oil only: This type of canvas is an advanced (premium) type that absorbs oily substances on land and on the water surface. It has a smooth body without pores. It consists of two layers of coating and is white in color.

Due to the buoyancy of oil and oily substances on water, the canvas also absorbs these substances by floating on the water surface.

Chemical (Hazmat): The second type of canvas absorbs dangerous chemicals (acids and bases) and is yellow in color.
